The Department of Education recently announced that they would be expanding the Student Assistance Scheme for 2021.
Parents who have a current concession card as listed below can apply for dependent students for assistance under the STAS:
Services Australia - Centrelink Health Care Card
Service Australia - Centrelink Low Income Health Care Card
Services Australia - Pensioner Concession Card or
Department of Veteran Affairs - Pensioner Concession Card.
Please note that if you are already receiving student assistance you do not need to complete a form.
For 2021 a new on-line form has been developed to assist with processing applications for new applicants.
The online form can be completed here: https://stasonlinesubmission.education.tas.gov.au/ The form will be available for public use from the I0th November.
Once a validated form is completed the Department of Education will confirm the outcome of your application in writing, this process takes approximately 14 days.
We understand this on line option may not be possible for all families, so if you require a hard copy form please contact your school or the Financial Assistance Unit on firstname.lastname@example.org or 1800 827 077.
Stop Drop and Go
20 Oct 2020
Reminder that the below Stop Drop and Go procedures are still in place;
Please remember that we will continue to limit parent and visitor movement in the school. As previously stated, Stop, Drop and Go will be in place throughout the school. Parents of children from Kinder-Prep, and parents of children with high needs, may escort their children to their classes but please refrain from entering and leave the school grounds as soon as you can.
If parents would like to speak to the class teacher, an appointment would need to be arranged with the teacher. Teacher email contacts are still available on the school website/app under the class notice tab. Parents would need to complete the Visitor Health Screening Form at the school office before the appointment.

Communication from Families to their child
23 Jul 2018
In an endeavour to minimise interruptions to our classes, we are introducing a new system of delivering messages to students/classes.
Starting tomorrow Tuesday 24th July, 1st day of term 3, we ask if families need a message to be given to their child, they please contact the school office prior to 2.30pm.
Classes will be picking messages up from the office every day at this time.
If families contact the school after 2.30pm we cannot guarantee being able to deliver the message to your child.
